Sadia Wali

Sadia Wali is a Doctor of Pharmacy and has master’s degree in public health from Tulane University, USA. She is based as a researcher of public health at the University of Southampton, UK. Her research area is maternal and child health and nutrition. She is interested to focus her research primarily on maternal and child health of Afghan refugee and asylum seeker in the UK. She used to be instructor at the Kabul University and fully aware of current situation imposed on Afghan women.

Outside of her academic work she is volunteer with Southampton Winchester Visitor Group (SWVG) which is charity organisation working with refugee and asylum seeker population.

Sadia is very happy to be involved with the Qatrah Foundation as she was part Afghan community and realizes the urgent need to support women and children in Afghanistan.
